ESVM : four letters standing for talent made in Switzerland

In 2003, the Ecole Supérieure de Visual Merchandising (ESVM) in Vevey, Switzerland launched its pioneering educational program for Designers ES in Visual Merchandising.

Unique in Europe, this professional university level program is dedicated to anticipating the needs of global consumers in a constantly changing market place.

Visual Merchandising helps optimizing the market position of a product or brand in understanding global marketing and visual communication aspects. To do so, the visual merchandiser works in an interdisciplinary environment. He/she elaborates a brand strategy, which then gets translated into anything from displays, events up to the complete design of flag stores and retail spaces.

Making shopping an experience for all five senses has become an acknowledged advantage by major corporations.

The two year education is combining theory and practise blending high-level visiting professors with industry partnerships during the period of study.

Field trips abroad are an important and integrated part of this modern and second to none education.
